Self sufficient generation startup Nuro stated on Monday it raised $940 million from SoftBank Staff Corp , which valued the Silicon Valley-based corporate at $2.7 billion.

Nuro used to be co-founded in 2016 through two former engineers of Google’s self-driving automotive challenge, Dave Ferguson and Jiajun Zhu.
