The purple berets haven’t responded to questions on whether or not the get together or deputy president Floyd Shivambu had benefited from the financial institution heist‚ BusinessLIVE reported on Thursday.
However a report by the Day by day Maverick advised on Thursday that the get together had allegedly acquired R1.3m.
The report‚ citing three unnamed sources‚ alleged that Floyd Shivambu’s youthful brother Brian had funnelled R10m by an organization known as Sgameka Initiatives into Floyd’s private checking account.
Proof of the funds was contained in financial institution statements being stored below “lockdown”. The report stated that these statements weren’t included in a damning report into VBS‚ commissioned by the Reserve Financial institution and launched on Wednesday‚ as a result of the investigators’ mandate associated particularly to VBS. No additional particulars in regards to the alleged cash path had been revealed.
