MUMBAI: A bunch of about 300 Aircel and Dishnet workers have filed a contempt petition within the Supreme Courtroom towards the telecom division, Bharti Airtel and its unit Bharti Hexacom for his or her failure to make sure the return of financial institution ensures value Rs 453 crore.

Bharti Airtel declined to remark for the reason that matter was sub-judice.

Airtel had paid Rs 298 crore in money and submitted financial institution ensures value Rs 453 crore to DoT on behalf of cash-stricken Aircel, adjusting the quantity towards its Rs 3,500 crore deal to purchase Aircel’s spectrum. DoT has till January 25 to return Rs 298 crore to Aircel.
